Manchester Arena Anniversary

As a fellow Mancunian, I am very proud of where I live and where I grew up. Most people will be familiar with the horrific attack on the MEN Arena in 2017. The MEN Arena for years held many events and concerts which created amazing memories and brought so many people together over the years. To hear about it being attacked in the way it did with the loss of 22 lives broke the hearts of many. However I had never seen such strength in a community in the aftermath, it was overwhelming and incredible. So a year on I wanted to do something to contribute. I love slicing paper and I wanted to put the two together. I wanted to add the elements of everything that brought us together in the days after which includes the One Love Concert, that Ariana Grande put together in record time, and the famous Manchester Worker Bee. The cut was then put to auction and the money donated to the 'We Love Manchester' organisation who was a massive help and support to all those affected.
